xjs Egg Nishner [Air Con]

This is to say thanx to Chad Bolles, Mike Morrin and Connie Vloutely for
their assistance in helping me find the problem with my 89 XJS air con
unit. Simple problem was that the gas escaped in one swoop because the
pipe return into the firewall had worked loose, (obviously the pre
delivery from the dealer was not up to scratch], and this was found in 2
mins from an auto electrician/air con friend of mine. so he vacuumed the
system and regassed it and 'Voila' cold air. Life is good. He also says
that he has enough gas for this system for another 3 years but after
that I'll have to make other arrangements. Maybe then the world will be
a cooler place and I wont need air conditioning. NOT...
