[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] re XJ-6 SIII O2 Sensor
Thanks to those who responded to my questions about replacement O2 sensors for an '87 XJ6. After more research (and confirmation by Randy Wilson), I learned that 3-wire sensors were used starting in '87. Most parts manuals don't show this, they show the 3-wire starting in '88 and all Series III having the 1-wire. David Shield wrote: > Tom, > That reference came from my local Bosch/Lucas dealer. Again, many parts references don't reflect this. (By the way, I didn't mean my comment about a discrepancy to be disparaging of your guide, only that the part I removed was not what I expected to find). Bolder font won't help me since I understand that's a Word document and I refuse to use Microsoft products. > Anyway, my Bosch/Lucas parts dealer supplied that part number. I found prices for the Bosch 3032 ranging from about $80us to $200us. I'm not sure the $80 price is correct since it is substantially below the others. I'll check it out today. Thanks again.
