    I agree that putting the car on blocks if there is a slow 
leak, or relieving most of the air pressure in the tires so the 
strain is off the side walls during extended storage. 
The suspension had better not be degraded by merely holding up 
the static weight of the car when it was designed to survive maybe
five times that load when taking a good bounce or a hard corner at 
100mph. The only time the suspension would be jepordized is if 
there were an extremely corrosive environment for a long time 
even at the low stress level.
