Perhaps you are aware of this, but I will point out that under full
throttle, with kickdown, that increases to 55mph and 85mph respectively.

John recommended that converter to me as well. He seems very knowledgable
and I mean no criticism to him, but I am still a little skeptical about
that converter. For one, there are a wide variety of converters that can
come with TH350s. I believe one of the highest stall versions are rated
at around 1900rpm as you indicate. Then again, stall speed depends on
the engine it is attached to so attached to the V-12 you will most likely
get a higher stall than 1900. I believe the converter you mention is an
11" model compared to the 12 or 13 inch one the Jags come with. This
would mean (all other things equal, which they surely aren't) a higher
stall. Anyway, if you decide to try this converter out I'll be pretty
happy to hear what you think of it. The impression I got from talking to
John, was that he liked that converter cuz it doesn't feel so loose during
normal starts. He admitted that it would likely give you a slower 0-60mph
time under full throttle though.
