My '81 has the delay, my '83 does not. Same goes for power door locks: on my '81, all four doors are locked/unlocked from either front door lock (very handy); on my '83, only the driver's door lock will lock/unlock them all (not so handy). These are a couple of features that Jag dropped that I appreciate in my older car.
