First time seeing the XK8 in person

I must admit that until today, I was an XK8 trasher.... I thought,
in the pictures, it looked like a Taurus, or a celica on steroids,
but today, I got to see it for the first time. My heart is still
racing.

My girlfriend and I were in Greensboro, which is the closest Jaguar
dealer to us, and we went by to look if they had one. My skepticism
vanished as soon as I saw the car in person. It is absolutely
gorgeous!!! Yes, it is definitely different but then again, so was
the XK120 and the E type and the XJ-S... She, being loyal to me and
my XJS thought we needed to just get a convertible version of what we
had, but even she, who trashed it more than I ever did, agreed it was
just beautiful. I even went to a toy store to buy a 1:18th scale
model of it - it is now next to my other Jaguar models!

In the end, I will still have to wait 6 years until I can get a used one!
