I want to measure my driveshaft, and I know of a "smart level" which will read out the angle of a surface relative to horizontal (x-z plane). I do not know of any device which reads angles between two large shafts in the x-y plane. I'm looking for a more modern way to do this rather than building a jig with lumber, rubbing two sticks together and throwing salt over my shoulder........... :) Greg also wrote: >At risk of turning this into >the "math-lover's" list, I will spare the trigonometric derivation.
