[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Carpet cleaning
You folks are going to think I am nuts I know, but here goes. Yesterday I found a spill on the carpet in my XJ-S, I went for the carpet cleaner, but thought about the times that I have seen wet carpet in these cars. I then placed the carpet in the bathtub and soaked it, then applied a mild laundry soap and using a brush washed it down. You will not believe how dirty a carpet gets till you do this, anyway about an hour later, and out of hot water also, I rinsed it out. Then hung it up to dry. Today the carpet smells clean is softer, looks great. Well now I guess I will have to do the rest of them. Chad Bolles Jaguar South 306 Valcour Rd Columbia SC 29212USA 803 798 3044
