With all this chatter about the XK 8 I guess I may as well jump in Personaly I love the shape of both and I'm trying to find someone who will let me have a drive (dreamer!) It is sad to see the demise of the V12 as it is without a doubt the smoothest engine I have ever experienced At out last Concours, there was a roadster on display alongside an Aston Martin DB 7 and they were being jealously gaurded by the salesman. I asked him if he felt the Aston was realy and Aston of an F type Jaguar. His reply was that in his opinion it was an XJS with a fancy body and the same applied to the XK8 Great sales pitch!
