Well, I must disagree. I've had my XK8 for only a week, but already it has
shown itself to be a great Jaguar. The engine is smooth and quiet. The
accelleration is quick and strong. I'm sure the supercharged 8 will just
flat-out kick the butt of any Jaguar engine produced to date -- except
maybe the engine in the XJ220.

On other fronts, the XK8 has:
 - great brakes
 - firm suspension
 - good handling in corners
 - more comfortable seats than the ones in the normal saloon. [But, they
aren't as supportive in fast cornering as the seats in the XJR. For that
reason, I prefer the seats in the XJR.]
 - a better ergonomic layout for the driver

And, as with the other Jaguars I've driven, the XK8 gets more stares,
waves, thumbs-up, and smiles per mile than any other car on the road.
