Hi Stein, I have installed seat belts in the back of my S and found the necessary mounting points. There is one, each side, behind the seat close to the door. I have just ducked out to check, and the mounting point is 25 mm from the inside of the wheel arch and about 50mm off the floor pan. I can easily see the mount point by looking from the outside ie the wheel housing. There is some reinforcing ie a metal strip about 30mm by 100mm, with an incorporated nut. mikeH ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Re: jag-lovers-digest V2 #648 Author: "Stein Hovind" <steinh@kirkeparken.vgs.no> at AARNET Date: 10/2/97 10:11 AM Hi, Gunnar. Without insulting any Germans, I found your German very funny. But perhaps you have to be Scandinavia-speaking to think so???? BTW, to all you ljag-lovers out there, I plan to install seat-belts for my two girls in the backseat of my S-Type. I've found two anchoring points on the hat-shelf, and two more in the center of the backseat where the seat and back-rest meet. But I haven't found the third point. I would expect it to be low, close to where the doo closes beside the seat. Any MK2 or S-type/420 who can help? Stein Hovind 1966 3.8 S-Type 1986 Audi 90
