I suspect you've come across a line-wrap bug, which we are currently trying to find a workaround for. Lines that start with a large number of spaces before any non-space character will cause the line-wrap algorithm to go into an infinite loop. Disabling wrapping of long lines in the message reader is a short-term solution to this problem. *************************** Y'know, I had noticed that the messages that caused the problem had something like "Thanks!" written way over to the right, with a whole bunch of spaces to get there. I had been thinking of deleting sections of the messages and trying again, just to isolate the cause, but was too lazy -- I couldn't correct the problem if and when I found it anyway. I hadn't noticed that turning the word wrap off avoids the problem. I have been turning it on and off quite a bit -- it often screws up some messages, getting the lines all messed up, especially when the writer has tried to organize things into columns or a table. So, I turn it off. However, some messages come through as all one line, so I have to turn it back on. -- Kirbert | If anything is to be accomplished, | some rules must be broken. | - Palm's Postulate
