[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] LHD-RHD Convertion
Given the poor resale values in Bahrain, I am thinking of shipping one or more of my cars back to Australia when I go home. I have investigated regulations, duty and shipping costs and there are no insurmountable barriers so far.......Except for converting from Left hand drive to Right hand drive. Does anybody have any experience with doing this? Is it easy/practical? I think I need a rack and a new dash board. The steering wheel, pedals and brake booster I presume I just swap over and shift the battery. What about the wiring under the dash - are they dual wired by any chance? can I rip it out and drag it over to the other side? or do I need a new wiring loom? If you are in Australia do you have any idea of the cost? Thanks Robert Bradley 82 Daimler 82 XJ4.2 87 XJ-S V12 HE ALL LHD!!!
