Ooops accidently deleted the post from ?@?.usu.edu when sending the reply. Apologies if it got sent and this is a duplicate. Can remember the general gist of it though. 1) I thought we were talking about low speed/ stopped when most heat problems occur. Therefore no significant pressures induced by speed. 2) I seem to have upset some people simply by disagreeing with them. I know a bit about fluid flow. I worked on a project with NCR (AT&T) on fluid flows in cash machines. Trying to stop dust settling in the wrong places. My original post on this started, 'scoops will be better' Perhaps it should have been 'here are some reasone why scoops can be argued to be better'. Just trying to show the other side of the argument. Sarcastic comments and being talked down to like an idiot were entirely unexpected. In my last reply to Kirbert I explained this seems to have stemmed from misunderstandings of what was meant. I hope this can can develop into a more mature discussion where intelligent, educated and/ or informed people can accept that others can disagree without being brainless. Even asking if Kirbert were an engineer or not seems to have irked some. I asked so I'd know. It saves me wasting space explaining simple stuff if it's already known. Incidently, I'd personally go for vents 'cos I think scoops look naff. Cheers, Richard
