John Kennish's 1967 Series I 2+2. Metallic Opalescent Silver Blue Exterior, Navy Blue Leather Interior, 4.2 Liter Engine, 4-speed Transmission, SU Carbs. Engine rebuilt in 1997. Notice why the valve covers and dashpots are so shiny - Ken chromed them.

I have included a photo of Dad's (John Kovski) British iron. The 52 MG TD was purchased in 1976, and we rebuilt the engineand, over the years, many other components. The 1985 XJ-S HE was purchased in 1994. The newest addition to the family is the 1969 XK-E 2+2, which Dad bought in 1997 in St. Louis.

He was on his way home from a trip across the country with the XJ-S, and stopped at a dealership, where he saw the 2+2. He never intended to buy an automatic, much less one in primrose. However, after seeing the condition of the car, as well as how it ran, he had to have it. The car was delivered during the early part of the winter here, and, as a result, Dad couldn't even really drive it (more than around the block once) until spring. Since then, though, the car has been into Ohio, New York and all over our area.
