Stainless Steel FastenersQuestion for anyone: Some time ago on this 'net there was mention of a source for SS fasteners and springs for XK's. Does anyone have this information? Was it MSC from Pittsburgh? Do they have British Standard fasteners as well, or do we have to go to UK for these? Thanks to anyone who has this information. - Carl Hanson, 1951 XK120 FHC I have an MSC catalog. Most listings are in US sizes. They also have a small list of metric machine screws and hex head cap screws. No BS sizes are listed. Here's the address: P.O. Box 13334, Pittsburg 15243; Phone - 1-800-359-7166 or 412-341-8989; Fax 412-341-0859 - Mike Carpenter Full selection of BSF/BSW fastenings (set screws, bolts, nuts [full, half, dome and castellated], washers) available by mail order from Namrick in the UK. It seems crazy to have to buy this stuff from the UK but I understand that we may well be the last bastion of the use of such "proper" threadforms and supply may be difficult in the colony ...... ;-) I'll post Namrick's details later as they aren't to hand here at work. - Dick Clements, '51 3.5L Mk V Carl, Send me an address and Ill mail copies of what I have on these parts. - Klaus Nielsen You might try the following: Maryland Metrics, 6119 Oakleaf Ave., Baltimore, MD, 410-358-3130 - Bob Mullins
