Mike Carpenter asked about a retainer for the side curtain bag - I can't find anything listed in the parts book, but I would be glad to hear more about this part. Roger Payne: is this one you are familiar with? - Regards, John Elmgreen

Although I'm certainly aware of their original existance, despite half-hearted looking, I have yet to see an original in the flesh, so to speak! - Roger Payne

John and all, I asked the original question about the strap. I also have a repro satchell on order, so I'll see about a strap when it arrives. If someone else has an original -140 OTS with side curtain bag, maybe they can provide the missing information? - Mike Carpenter
