Badge BarsI would like to find a chrome badge bar for my XK140. I have looked in several catalogs, but can't seem to find anything. I have seen this item on many old photos of jags sporting various badges of clubs or competitions. Any help would be appreciated. - Ron Kutrieb Guy Broad has them and there is a specialist chromework dealer that advertises them in the JEC magazine. WIll post more details when I can remember to bring the mag into work. - Dick Clements, 1951 MkV 3.5L Saloon Ron, I recently purchased one for my MK2 Jaguar from a company called Quality Components for approx UK £30. They also sell the clips and also period badges for the bar. They have an illustrated catalogue. Sorry no web site - tel / fax number is UK 015395 52087. I am the web site manager for Guy Broad Jaguar. You may also want to ask Guy if he can help at:http://ww.guybroad.co.uk - Dave Roche Quality Components Gilpin-Cott-Lyth Near Kendal Cumbria, LA8 8DQ Cost of the catalogue in the UK is 3 Pounds Sterling. Might be more if it is to be posted overseas. - Dick Clements, '51 Mk V 3.5L Saloon I am also looking for one and if I knew what it looked like I am sure I could make it. Does anyone know if a badge bar was an optional accessory ? Peter Fielding - South Africa, '55 140 DHC Ron, I am looking for the same item. If you find a source would you let me know also, please. Thanks - Klaus Nielsen Klaus; I have a mailing from XK's Unlimited from a year or so ago, they list a 18" bar #17-2105 $99.95, and a 22" bar with slight bend #17-2103 $1109.95. - Regards, Skip Smith Boy Skip. When XK's makes that bar a little longer and bends it, it really drives the price up. :-) - George Badger That 22 incher must be impressive at that price- $1109. What did they do? Get Superman to bend it for them by hand? - Carl Hanson George, The extra $1000 is a result of my research and typing. A small price to pay for four more inches and a slight bend I must say. - Skip Smith Skip, Thanks, I'll try them for the short one. Those last four inches are expensive. - Regards, Klaus Nielsen
