My cigar lighter fuse is located on the right side of the console, just forward of the console itself. Remove the cover panel by the left knee of the passenger - the one with the a/c vent. Two screws on the vent and lift the panel off. The in-line fuse is down on the right side of the climate control unit. One side of the fuse has a heavy brown wire which is connected to the battery, and the other end has a purple wire to the cigar lighter (or 2M rig). A real ham would have the rig hanging from the dash under the
glove box, so that it bangs the knee of the passenger.... |
