Brochures have always been important in the development of Jaguar and the early days were no exception. A Swallow Coachbuilding offering from 1929 shows the sort of presentation that was to put William Lyons' companies in the forefront of vehicle advertising. Alongside the company literature came plenty of magazine advertising to whet the public's appetite for what was to come. Often the front cover served as a vehicle for a well executed colour presentation.
