A British/American Visual Translation Guide

I have created the beginnings of a visual translation guide that will clearly illustrate the terms used
to describe our vehicles, the tools we use to repair them and the parts used for those repairs.  If you're
looking for answers on what a Crescent wrench is used for, where the wings on your vehicle are and
what a grub screw is (along with all those other gubbins), this will be the place to find them.

Presently this page is limited to the obvious external automotive terminology.  I will be expanding it
to include tools and hardware over time.  It looks like the next investment should be a digital camera.

The XJ Saloon / Sedan

The following images are labeled with the British term first followed by the American equivalent
with a slash to separate them.  I would like to thank the Spongbergs for contributing pictures
of their beautiful Canadian spec. Series III so I could generate this section of the guide.  I hope
to follow with a guide to terms for the interior of the car soon.  As always, any additions,
corrections and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged.
