Description: This is the evaporator I removed from my car as I started the restoration. Several of the air direction louvers were damaged and the case had some damage. Notice the blower motor sitting above the top of the case.

Description: This is the motor for the evaporator blower and it has a supply air duct from the front top of the case.

Description: This is the right end of the evaporator as seen from below and the blower housing is seen. Also there is a fastener that goes into the right side of the foot well to locate the evaporator.

Description: Right foot well, hole is for the blower motor on the evaporator, remember it stuck up above the evaporator case.

Description: This is the compressor bracket, attaches the the exhaust manifold side ot the block and to the front of the engine via the four bolts grouped in a 'square' pattern on the left part of the water pump.

Description: This is the front of the compressor bracket. The front two holes are for the alternator which sits 'backwards'. The hole you see near the engine is for the idler pulley bracket.

Description: This is the alternator, note the yellow 'AC' on the fan. It denoted it is a reversed fan to 'pull' air through the alternator to help cool it. The alternator mounts to the front of the compressor bracket.

Description: This is the 'front' of the alternator as it mounts to the bracket, the pulley and the fan are offf and laying at the side.
