Description: Heat shield for the brake and clutch bottles really dress up the exhaust side of the engine. Notice the JetHot treated manifolds.

Description: Another view of the heat shield and manifolds. Shield is mounted reverse as the power steering gets in the way of the bend in the shield.

Description: Spin on oil filter was added for convenience in changing the oil and filter. A wonderful addition even though it is used only once a year.

Description: The crankcase is now vented to the air via large hose going straight down.

Description: K & N filters were added for sound and looks. They also do a good job of filtering and required the crankcase vent hose fix.

Description: A modern Mallory Unilite distributor makes for a very smooth idle and rapid climb to redline.The old one was made 11-69. I no longer have to change points on tune-ups!

Description: The Hayden fan keeps things really cool. Even in Palm Springs at 110F the car is cooler than I am.

Description: Coins on the carbs at idle. It really is this smooth. But, as we all know there are slots in the dashpots holding the coins vertically.
