My name is Paul Moggach and I live in Canberra, Australia. I am 30 Years of age and a relative new comer to the wonderful world of Jaguar. Last July I decided to act on a long held ambition to acquire a "classic Car". A mate in Sydney had been pointing me in the direction of Mark 2 jaguars for a while and had come across one in the local Trading Post newspaper. After checking it out and gaining command approval from her indoors I bought a 1963, 3.8 litre, MOD. Not nearly original, this car has had the interior restored (for want of a better word) with vinyl and the timber done over with sand paper and estapol (yuk!) The engine and exterior however, are excellent. The car had been used as a daily driver for most of its life and for the better part of the last ten years has had lots of tender loving care. I now use it to travel to and from work on dry days (plenty of those here in a Canberra summer!) and have only needed to conduct regularly upkeep maintenance. Jobs done so far include; replacing the fuel pump, replacing a number of rubber hoses, replacing the lower steering column bush and installing a radio and speakers that actually work. Following our other new addition of November 1997 ( Catherine Elise, 8lb, 11oz.) I also installed the fittings to take a baby capsule. (she, of course, is going to grow up a Jaguar fan!) I have included three photos taken outside old Parliament House although sunglare spots on one of the shots doesn't help. I look forward to seeing many more beautiful cars along with her.

Thanks Paul Moggach
