"An 'E' Type will only let you carry one nice young blondes; the MkII will let you carry her and two spares." Shel Hall If you are near a major city, you're in luck: chances are that you'll have a steady stream of used Jags in the newspaper to look over and that there's a Jaguar club nearby. If you are really serious about finding a MkII, get involved with the club and let them know exactly what you are looking for. Our local Jag club is a very social group and it's a nice mix of price-is-no-object, That's-NOT-an-original-hose- clamp!!! restoration geeks who live and die by the JCNA points system on one side, some of us I-just-wanna-go-fast-and-have-fun vintage racing types on the other and a whole bunch of regular folks in the middle. There's some real expertise in these clubs and the contacts there can point you to cars which will never appear in the papers. Net-resources: There are active Jaguar and british-cars e-mail lists. The information you have just read in this file is a product of the lively discussion that occurs on these lists. Subscription information is appended below.
