"My" Vicarage Mk 1

"My" Vicarage Mk 1

Yeah, I know I don't own it anymore, but it will always be "my" car. I sincerely hope the future owner appreciates what he/she has. Vicarage has transformed my stately boulevard cruiser into a sporting saloon. Does it work?

Before Vicarage After Vicarage

The interior has been completely gone through with new bucket seats replacing the big bench in front. The interior color scheme remains pretty much the same. Modern three point seatbelts have also been added.

I actually liked the "vintage" feel of the monster steering wheel which originally came with the car. It's only drawback came when it was time for ingress/egress where my abnormally long legs often became entangled. With power steering, the big wheel is no longer needed, and a cute little leather wrapped Mota-Lita serves instead. Note that 4-speed on the floor. No more slide shifter (RNDL) under the dash. Plus, the "Intermediate Speed Hold" (a.k.a., second gear) switch now actuates the overdrive.

The original body colored steel disk wheels have been replaced by a set of body colored competition wire wheels with chrome spinners for a more sporty look, and maybe a touch of evil...

It could be yours...
