Attached are photos of my 1951 Mk.VII soon after I got it MOT tested in October. That was the first time that it had been on the road under it,s own steam since 1970. I am now getting ready to spray it. My Mk.VII was made in summer 1951, it was bought from Jaguar export by a Spanish diplomat who worked in Bristol . As a result it is right hand drive and was never actually exported. She has only had two previous owners . I met the last one who had owned
her since mid sixties when I purchased the car in December 1997. She was
in a garage cum cellar under a quaint old split level cottage at Cheltenham.
She has many early features like camcovers without studs around the
front.
Very wide fanbelt
Also enclosed is a picture of a MkIX which I saw in Stratford East London, it had a tax disc up 2001 so must be tested and on the road. Last Update 07 October 2000 Back to Saloons Back to MkVII-IX |
