Angus has been interested in cars all his life and a Jaguar fan since at least the age of 7, when his father bought his first Jaguar, an XJ6 series 1 4.2 auto. Angus remembers being disappointed it wasn’t an XJ12, which had recently been launched.

Angus bought his first Jaguar in July 1993, a 1985 XJ6 3.4 auto, this was followed by a 1978 Daimler Sovereign Coupe 4.2 auto, in September 1995 which he replaced with a Lancia Beta Coupe Spyder in May 1998, selling it less than 6 months later to buy an XJ6 4.2 Manual o/d, which although Mot’d was pretty rough, and following a fairly extensive home restoration was back on the road 23 months later, looking an altogether more attractive car, during this period, Angus also bought a 1989 V12 Sovereign, but only kept it for a short time. The Series one was part exchanged for a 1986 Jaguar Sovereign 4.2 auto in 2001, which in turn was sold to help finance the purchase of a 1995 low mileage X300 3.2 Sport in 2002. The V12 bug had bitten though and the X300 was sold in late 2003 and replace with a 1985 Daimler DoubleSix.

Angus has a long suffering wife, Trish and 2 sons, Calum and Euan.
