Steve Corbally's Mark 2 Herewith some pictures of our 1961 3.8L Mark 2 Auto in Indigo (or Midnight Blue, we're not sure which is correct for the year), taken during a recent Mark 2 Register run through the Adelaide Hills. The day saw 10 Mark 2's, 3 S Types, 1 E Type series 1 FHC, 2 XJS's and 1 "Whale" (aka Mark 10) attend for a stimulating drive on some nice twisty roads through the hills before stopping for a coffee and a browse through the antique shops in Strathalbyn, a lovely town which retains much of it's turn of the century heritage (the browse was not kind to a number of wallets). This was then followed by a lazy lunch at an Olde English style pub called the Three Brothers Arms in a town called Macclesfield....how much more "British" could we get! (They even had some Pommy beer on tap!) A most enjoyable day. The photos are of the car at various stops on the way, with one shot showing Steve and Isobel nonchalantly posing by the cat compact. I hope they're suitable. Regards
