Jag-Lovers is moving!

Sorry for the short notice, but we'll be shutting down our nearly 7-year-old server in Bergen, Norway, and firing up our new state-or-the-art server in the US. Very shortly we will switch all the forums/mailing lists to read-only status as we prepare a final backup of the message databases. The Internet may be confused for short while as routers the world over learn where the new site is, so you may get "Page not found" errors during the transition. When the final backup is transferred to the new server and tested, we'll we'll flip the switch and you'll be able to post again.

Please refrain from sending e-mails asking if the server is up, as these will all be queued until we allow users to send messages to the lists/forums. At that point the question will be irrelevant because you'll have your answer in the form of an inbox full of e-mails asking if the server is up.

Until we reopen the forums, you'll still be able to access the website, search the forum archives, and get answers to nearly any question you may have. The only thing you won't be able to do is post messages to the forums. Once we're back up, everything will be back to normal, except you should notice an increase in speed, especially during the busy times.
