Tim's Series 1972 Series III 2+2.

Maynard's 1969 2+2. Nice looking collection of cars!

The car is a 1972 Regency Red Series 3. I am the fourth owner - bought it in March 1997 after a 9 month search. The car has always been used in California, is not restored and has covered 108K miles. It was dealer maintained up to 96K, so is fairly original. What problems does it have - door ding on drivers side, bad stone chips on the bonnet, minor leak from power steering system and air conditioning that is not charged. The car came with all of its service record and receipts back to delivery, so it was fun to trace the previous owners and talk about their old E-Type. The first drove it for 96K miles in 15 years, and only sold it because he got another Jaguar as a company car. The second and third both drove about 4K in the 4 years that they owned it, and now it is my turn to enjoy the pleasures of driving an E-Type.

My Son Michael had this car in High School, and while in the Army. When he returned he started to restore it , never got to finish it. He past away. (long story) He asked me to complete the job and this is it! Have many car show wins with it! It has the 400 ci engine, 4 speed Trans., 390 gear and a 8 track tape player (came in the car). New interior and top. The paint is PPG's base coat clear coat, Bright Blue. This Bird will fly!

The 1957 Mercury Montclair 2 Door Hardtop Has the optional Turnpike Cruiser engine 290 HP 368 cu.in. is one of a kind. It has only 20,000 miles on it! All original, paint, sparkplugs, exhaust system, interior, wiring and just every thing! (some of rubber part were replaced, belts, hoses, brake cylinders but that is about it)

The head lights still have the original ford script FOMOCO Printed on piece of scotch tape in white on each light. (would come off if washed hard) The are some stone chips on the hood paint, I have been told that I should not repair them, would reduce the value.

This car has the CFO, It was never titled! It was a Dealer Demo (Owner of the dealer ship's personal car) He past away in 1957 and his kids fought over it for 35 years while it was stored. The dealer who sold it to me found out about it and ask "Why don't you sell it and split the money?" They said "never thought of that!" Sorry for the long story. I have entered it in the "Muddy River Run" the largest "Street Rod" event in this city (1700 cars) and received a top 25 award! The "Street Roders " themselves do the voting! (only old cars 1957 or older can enter this event) Try to get a Street Rodder to take a second look at any Original car!
